"The Wish Bone" by Deirdre Foster and Beatrice Leresche (...)

Poetic show that tells the amazing stories of the Indian Crees du Marais (...)

On a spring day near Lake Winnipeg a goose appears high in the sky, alone.  She hovers a while, lands on the lake and swims to shore.  A lynx grabs the bird, and as he proceeds to eat it, he hears a man shout and the lynx finds itself on top of a tree.
Among the remains of the goose body the man finds a bone, the Wish Bone, said to protect the heart.   With that bone a person can transform itself,  change the world, play tricks.

HappyKid comment:

Le Saltimbanque is a tiny place in the heart of Les Grottes where marvelous birthdays can be organised (see HappyBirthday). This time you may go to listen to Indian poems and tales by The Chat de Bla company and les Passeurs de Mots.  Dream and learn to laugh in the face of adversity...
