Birthdays at Saltimbanque

(...) On birthdays, kids are stars at the Saltimbanque: show, cake and costumes compose the right backdrop for a dream day. More than that, kids will participate, laugh, make discoveries and experiments, for an afternoon out of this world in an enchanted theater.

Parents won't need to organize a thing and kids won't need to be bored with birthdays.

The Saltimbanque gladly welcomes groups up to about twenty children, ages 6 to 12, for a birthday that will stay close to everyone's heart.

Hidden behind a storefront that doesn't look like much, at the heart of the Grottes neighborhood, PaPo the Clown welcomes kids in his theater, the "smallest one in Geneva" for a fun-filled and participatory birthday party. One after the other, PaPo introduces games, optical illusions, clowns around, speaks in riddles, has a mini-disco and a "pestacular" cake. Children laugh, are intrigued, chase the lights of the disco ball and party.

If PaPo the Clown with the Big Heart looks a little "tired" , it may not only be his washed out make-up or original haircut, but rather the fact he's made this performance over 500 times, so you can say that there isn't a glitch in the show. I really appreciated the fact that he takes care of the whole party from A to Z (even down to the detail of wrapping up little party favors for guests), that kids receive a warm welcome, are entertained, but also well supervised and quizzed to participate. The riddles and optical illusions draw them into the show. During the show, they sit down on their own colored flowers and watch a succession of comical situations and clowning about. The king or the queen of the day is especially proud when invited on stage to fix PaPo's make-up... Cake-time is special too, wows are guaranteed....a mountains of Caracs, mille-feuilles and other pastries are magnificently displayed, awaiting for the appearance of the little food lovers!
