The Gavotte is a non-profit organisation whose main activity is to promote the encounter and appreciation of animals by children.
Throughout the year on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons children have the opportunity to ride a horse on a small discovery tour, to take riding classes or just admire the animals living on the farm.
The atmosphere in the Gavotte is truly unique! A community, a zoo, it is a farm like no other.
Your child and yourself will come across many different animals - donkeys, zebus, llamas, pigs, sheep, rabbits, Shetland ponies, horses, just to name a few. Children often get to stroke the animals, to their greatest pleasure. Direct contact with animals is as much a source of joy as it is a means to instill the first notions of kindness, respect and safety towards animals.
Wear Wellington boots if it has rained recently as it gets quite muddy!
