A birthday unlike any other, focused on sculpture! We organize group activities focused on the discovery of sculpture and modeling. During an afternoon (about 2 hours of activity) children (from age 6 to 14 - indicative age) explore clay, follow their inspiration, create. Why not make a birthday gift for the "king or queen of the feast," or make a decoration for your room, what a about a favorite monster or a beautiful princess? ... just about anything is possible and most of the time, kids are happy to discover and experience clay hands-on.
Under adult supervision, kids learn about modeling techniques and create one or more pieces as they wish, depending on the time and age of the group. This generally takes about 45 to 90 minutes. Each participant signs every work of art, which is set to dry before being fired in the workshop’s kiln. The birthday child and friends collect these once the pieces are done, leaving everyone with a lasting memory of personal and happy birthday unlike any other.
Time allowing, we go to the Geisendorf park for a romp and a play outdoors after such intense moments of concentration and creation. Afterwards, kids can settle down quietly in the comfort of our “lounge”.
