The Urban Farm is back from October 22nd to 26th at François-Auguste Châtrier Park!
During the fall break, François-Auguste Châtrier Park in Thônex is transformed into a veritable open-air farm. Chickens, pigs, pigeons, and other animals await you for a unique experience in the heart of nature... right in the city!
For five days, come meet the animals and discover daily life on the farm through a series of fun, educational, and interactive workshops designed for children and adults alike.
The program includes games, storytelling, creative workshops, discovering local products, and much more.
It's the perfect opportunity to share a friendly family moment, ask the activity leaders any questions you may have, and raise children's awareness about the environment, agriculture, and biodiversity.

Admire the farm animals (except the cows and sheep, which are currently sick), decorate pumpkins, learn how to make your own syrup, or listen to musical stories... The program in Thônez is magnificent and varied!
Urban farms provide awareness-raising activities for different audiences to encourage the consumption of food produced locally. Urban farms provide awareness-raising services in conjunction with the Ma-Terre program and the School on the Farm to teach children, their families, and the rest of the population basic knowledge about agriculture and food.
