This museum bears witness to the history of firefighters, both servicemen and service women, since the creation of the City of Geneva's first Firefighter Battalion in 1840.

Retired firefighters of the Emergency and Firefighting Services are happy and proud to welcome you to the Museum of Firefighters dedicated to their work. They are ready to answer all your questions and to warmly share their experiences. This superb museum is spread over three floors. There is no entrance fee. (...)

Opening hours. Wednesdays and Sundays, from 10 am to 12 noon, and 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Closed during school vacation, public holidays, months of July and August.
