The main objective of this workshop is to familiarize children with nature by allowing them to come into direct contact with soil. While learning basic gardening skills (sowing seeds, taking cuttings, planting…), children will get to know an exceptional site and its numerous dwellers (animals, vegetables, minerals and…fairies!). Through the creation of miniature habitats, a variety of gardens and living constructions, children will actively contribute to the promotion of biodiversity and safeguard endangered species. And if we all need to stay inside because of the weather, we will sow all kinds of seeds, take cuttings and multiply our indoor plants, will make birdhouses or press flowers and leaves into books.
From ages 5 to 12. Wednesday morning from 10 am to 12 pm. Wednesday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm. 8 participants per workshop.
