Learning to play an instrument at La Bulle d'Air follows the same philosophy as musical awakening. The classes are predominantly held in groups in order to focus on exchanges and stimulate interactive learning. The teaching method promotes the creative development of the child as well as his abilities as a performer. The acquisition of music theory follows step by step the progress in instrumental practice.
A performance at year end will celebrate the achievement of each child.

La Villa Dutoit et son beau parc accueillent les enfants dans un espace très agréable et avec un charme unique. Ici, c'est un peu "comme à la maison" mais en mieux!
Il y a plein de jouets et de livres dans la salle où se fait l'accueil, de grandes pièces aérées pour les ateliers, un immense espace à l'extérieur avec un jardin, des arbres pour faire des cabanes et s'inventer des jeux, et une cuisine où on prépare de bons petits plats pour les enfants lors des stages de vacances (cf. HappyCamper).

The founder of the Bulle d'Air, Martine Pernoud, and her team have a real talent to put together workshops where children, parents and musical instruments interact to create a joyful orchestra. Music is at the heart of its activities of course, but it is mainly the sharing of vibrant and fun experiences that make beautiful and lasting memories and shape the relationship to our children.
The quality of the musical workshops, whether during the school-year or during the holidays, varies naturally according to the personality of the animator. Most speak English and are accustomed to welcome families with international backgrounds. All are professional musicians trained by the "Bulle" to teach rythm and melody to children, from their youngest age, and taking into account any peculiarities.
The family-friendly non-fussy atmosphere, the fundamental values of respect, open-mindness and sharing, the lovely venues of the various addresses of "La Bulle", the rich and varied program of workshops, courses and camps, as well as the amazing collection of instruments from the whole world - are all absolutely unique in the region! The smiles and the pleasure of the children are eloquent!
