A recent favourite of HappyKid.ch, the Platton Educational Farm offers a wonderful setting at the foot of the Salève, in the middle of the countryside, for children and families who love animals, are curious to learn more about them and want to see them up close. Alpacas, sheep, ponies, turkeys, Highlander cows, goats and kids, donkeys, rabbits, pigs, ducks... the animals are all in great shape, wonderfully housed in clean and well laid out pens. The farm's staff welcome us with kindness and are delighted to share their passion and knowledge with the children and their parents. In this springtime, the baby goats are a funny and touching sight... and some of them may even let the kiddies pet them. The Farm also hosts very nice birthday parties (see HappyBirthday).
